Substitute Community Guides

Here you will truly make a difference in the daily. Together, we handle over 1000 cases per month at the service center via visits, phone, and email. We grow and learn together; no question is too small or too big! - Joan, unit manager.

The service center has undergone a transformation over the past year to become a modern service organization, which means we take on more tasks from our offices to relieve core operations. There are therefore great opportunities for you to grow and learn more about the different parts of the municipality. The service center's goal is to become a gateway to the municipality for our residents, businesses, associations, and visitors, a journey we hope you want to join us on.

As a substitute community guide, your task is to provide our customers with information and guidance via phone, email, and Facebook, which we handle in our case management system Artvise. A large part of your tasks will also be to receive personal visits at the municipal building's reception.

Nykvarn Municipality is a Finnish administrative area, and we consider it an advantage if you speak Finnish.

To work as a substitute, personal qualities reflecting both good service ability and flexibility are required. You are a responsible person with a genuine interest in helping others. You express yourself clearly and pleasantly in communication with others and have a solution-focused approach.

We also want you, as an applicant, to have:

• High school qualifications with basic eligibility for higher education
• Previous experience in service work/customer service
• Very good ability to handle several different IT-based systems
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of the English language.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Post-secondary education in service, administration, or similar
• Previous experience in case management
• Previous experience working in a municipality
